Introduction
Promenade Apartments are 7 self catering apartments which are mid block of hotels and B&B on the main Blackpool Promenade. The seven apartments are over three floors with two ground floor apartments with wheelchair access.
We have sea front entrance with a nine car parking bays.
Access is by a ramp or steps. The apartments offer a choice of holiday with a cafe approx 150yds from the Apartments where breakfast and main meals, salad bar with picnic available.
We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement, if you have any queries please do call. We look forward to welcoming you.
Pre-Arrival
• We have a basic website and can be found listed on selfcateringflatinblackpool.com
• Bookings / enquires can be made via email promenade-apartments361@hotmail.co.uk or phone 01253 346061 / mobile 07928262653.
• The nearest bus stop and tram stop are across the road outside approx 20 metres away.
• The nearest train station in the town is approx 2miles a 15 min walk, accessible taxi are at station and many buses do run along the sea front.
• There is a mobility ship offering scooter hire just a 5 min walk away, they are Blackpool wheelchair and scooter hire 183 Lytham Rd. Tel 01253 408453.
• Shopping can be delivered from Iceland which again is a 10 min walk.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• Luggage can be unloaded at the front only of the apartments.
• There is a car parking for 9 cars at the front of the apartments with a dropped curb as an entrance.
• The entrance at the front has a ramp and 3 steps at opposite end of the ramp entrance.
• There is a wall down one side of the car park and raised step up along the right hand side as you enter the car park,
• The ramp is wooden decking with rail on the right hand side only. The ramp opening is 152cm with an incline of 48cm. The steps are 20cm high and 83cm wide.
• The door is hinged on the left as you enter and is 83cm wide with a small step in 3cm high.
• Access is via tarmac car park. There are visual indicators in rooms 1/2/3/
• All apartments are no smoking.
• Disability aid dogs are welcome; please do inform us on booking.
Main Entrance, Reception Area
• The entrance at the front of the apartments has 3 steps to the door at 20cm high and one small one 3cm in the front door.
• The door is 83cm wide.
• Inside the front entrance is corridor that is 170 wide with two tub chairs on the right hand side. That leaves clear corridor of 107cm.
• This leads to internal door with key lock and a door bell on the right hand side. The door is 100cm wide; this gives access to the apartments and reception which is at Room 2 Manager Office.
• The doorway to the reception area is up one step 5cm high, 72cm wide. There is space outside of the lounge door of a further 70cm.
• There is a door bell on the right hand side of the door frame at 90cm height.
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• The corridor on the ground level is approx 150cm wide
• Restricted by radiator of 78cm for some of the distance and a hall table that is 65cm in length.
• The decor is contrasting thru out.
• The hallways and stairs are all carpeted.
Laundry
• There is a separate laundry room situated on the 3rd floor.
• It has a washing machine and one tumble dryer. One iron and one ironing board.
• We are able to offer assistance for those unable to manage the stairs safely. We offer a serviced wash.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
• Ground floor room 1 Rupert Bear apartment is 1 double bed.
• General
• Non feather duvets and pillows provided in each apartment.
• Sheets and duvets covers and pillow cases are poly-cotton.
• LCD DVD Freeview 19in TV
• The door is 72cm wide.
• Double bed is 4ft 6in
• Wet room with WC to the right as you enter. Sink to the left as you enter.
• The largest transfer space available is to the right hand side of the bed.
• Bed height is 40cm floor to top of mattress
• Largest free space clear of doors and furniture is 150cm by 150cm
• In the bedroom in centre of large bay window is French Doors
• The width of the French doors are 115cm wide leading to their
• Own private sun lounge. This 8ft wide by 10ft with two large
• Windows with opening to the left hand window.
• To the left of this room is another door which is for emergency only.
• To either side of the emergency door is a brown leather recliner.
• To the right as you enter thru the French doors is small electric fire, and to the side of that is a 3 door unit with LCD TV on top.
• In the middle of the two large front windows is a dining table with either end a leather dining chair.

• To the entrance on the ground floor apartment at the end of the main corridor is a ramp
• The ramp is lip 2cm high 86cm wide 197cm length with
• Gradient 5cm to 8cm to 10cm to door at entrance to apartment .
• The door is 76cm wide.
• The lounge area is carpeted and is 13ft 6ins in length.
• As you enter on the left hand side is 3 seater sofa opposite
• With space 170cm is another 2 seater sofa.
• To the side of sofa is large bay window 200cm length and 50cm wide with 32in TV on stand 47cm high.
• On the right hand side as you enter the apartment is a large floor lamp.
• Then a long radiator 230cm long with radiator cover .
• Then you move the open plan kitchen /diner length 13ft long and 15ft wide with cushioned flooring.
• As you look to the left side there are kitchen units with kitchen sink this is 6ft long.
• Next to that is emergency fire door 74cm wide.
• On the far wall is sliding door width 67cm leading to wet room.
• The wet room grab rail to the left 114cm from far wall.
• Window 84cm long. With 114cm space to the wc and 74cm to drop down grab rail. On that wall as you enter heater
• 188cm up from floor.
• On right hand wall 38cm from door entrance grab rail.
• 107cm from door is shower head.
• Next to wet room bedroom door 74cm wide.
• Then 213 cm kitchen unit with cooker and hob.
• On the right hand wall radiator with shelf 173cm long.
• Small gap then fridge/freezer width 53cm.
• Bedroom as you enter the door has 186cm then a three door wardrobe which is 41cm long.
• Then a bathroom door 77cm wide.
• Bed 234cm against the wall. 3ft wide full sized single.
• Back wall has two windows the first is 114cm does not open.
• Then bedside cabinet 40cm wide , then
• 3ft wide electric bed with 114 cm window above opening inwards from the bottom.
• Next to the bed is bedside cabinet 40cm wide with 44cm space to the wall.
• On the right hand wall from the bed 264cm there is dressing table 92cm long. On this is LCDTV 19in
• Next to that is a modern day sofa which full size single bed
• 198cm length and 89cm wide.
• On the wall with the door has radiator with shelf on 164cm long.
• Thru the bathroom door on the left hand side is radiator 61cm length. Then 320cm of wall space.
• The wall facing 5ocm wide 50cm along wc with 71cm then wash basin with cupboard then window 92cm wide with right hand full opening .
• Then on the right hand wall is the bath 160 length 55cm high with taps under the window.
• Then on the wall leading to door had another cupboard unit 45cm wide.
• Short pile carpet from stairs and throughout first floor Not bathroom or kitchen areas).
• Main landing 90cm wide and 700cm long approx.
• All doors to the apartments are 72cm wide.
• All apartments have en-suite. One extra toilet. on first floor only.
Apartment 4
• There is a step 2cm high as you enter this apartment
• The main door width is 29in
• The first door off hallway is 29in wide.
• This a bathroom with bath 160 long height 55cm
• Taps at top end of the bath
• Next to bath is standard toilet.
• At top end of the room is a window with blind.
• The next door is 29in wide leading to kitchen dining area.
• With units on two walls the first as you enter room with sink at far end next to window with opening to the right hand side.
• Wall in front under the window has long work surface .
• Under the surface there is a washing machine/dryer
• Then a fridge and next to that a freezer.
• As you enter and turn to the right is a dining table
• Oblong in shape with four leather seats two either Side of the table.
• As you enter this room on the left hand side is another
• Door leading to a bedroom with double bed
• At end of the room is another door with en-suite.
• En-suite has shower to left and to right wc and in middle is small sink with lever taps.
• The next door off the hallway at the end of hallway
• Is door leading to large lounge.
• In front open space to the left a desk with playstation 2
• On the next wall is a 5 shelf 6ft high book case.
• At the top end of room is large corner unit sofa
• Next to is draw unit with 26in LCD TV.
• Off this room is another door leading to bedroom
• In the bedroom to the right are twin beds with bedside cabinet in the middle with lamp.
• In front of you as you enter the door is a double side Wardrobe.
• There is another door leading to en-suite.
• In front of you is a wc to the right is a window with blind and on the vinyl flooring is a bin with lid.
• To the left is heated towel rail.
• Then a sink in cased in a unit.
• Next to that is a shower with opening door to the right.
Second floor
• Accessed from 7 steps 80cm wide depth 17cm. Landing aprox 700cm. two doors are 72cm wide. Room 6 Wellington bear apartment. Is 4 single beds with room both sides.
